The American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP) is an organization that is devoted to bringing safe, wholesome, and quality meats and foods to America's tables. By adhering to a strict Code of Ethics that ranges from not misrepresenting products or services to complying with local, state and/or federal regulations, the AAMP and its members have created a community of honor and credibility within the food service industry by staying committed to its strict guidelines.

Since 1939 the association has offered membership to the U.S., Canadian provinces and several foreign countries. Membership has since grown to more than 1,300 medium-sized to smaller businesses within the meat, poultry and food businesses: slaughterers, packers, processors, wholesalers, in-home food service business, retailers, deli and catering operators, and industry suppliers.

Proud members display the seal of honor and are committed to the AAMP mission to improve the meat and related food industry. Through using proper identification and labeling of food products to maintaining high standards of plant cleanliness and sanitation, members of AAMP believe in food safety and great quality. It’s a commitment that companies and organizations in the food industry honor when selling and processing food products.
